Genuine WWII British Army cap badge The London Irish Rifles Regiment, to be worn on the GS Cap.

The outfit participated to Sicily invasion, the Anzio beachhead and Monte Cassino battle. 

At the outset of war, the London Irish Rifles took up defence duties in Kent, being involved in disembarkation duty for the Dunkirk evacuation at Margate and Ramsgate, and in manning anti aircraft small arms in ships in the Channel.
