Here's a great and rare ordinance item from the venerable C-47 "Goonie Bird". It is a removable gun port which sat in the center of several of the fuselage side windows. Note in the above photo you can see it in the first window on the left side of the aircraft. It was WW2's version of a "Gunship". The clear plastic insert could be easily removed and the barrel of a weapon shoved through the opening and fired.
