Jacket, Ike, 40R, 1944, Africa-Italy
Nice genuine WWII US regulation pattern Enlisted Men's jacket, chosen by General Eisenhower in April 1944, hence the name 'Ike Jacket'. All original insignias still present: North Africa Command* shoulder patch with theater-made 'Africa-Italy' tab, Staff Sergeant rank stripes, Overseas Service Bars and 'ruptured duck'. A few moth holes are present.

* The North Africa Command was created in February 1943 within the frame of operations in Africa, prior to its transfer to Italy.
