Armband, 326th Medical Co., 101st AB, British Made
Rare Genuine WWII British Made variation of medic armband, white cotton with small red cross made of fuzzy wool. Photos of 101st Airborne, 326th Medical Co. medics wearing this type of armband can be seen in the book Carentan, Part II, page 520-521.
Fantastic condition, very minor storage marking. It appears the arm bands were manufactured with the earlier pattern armband with full size red cross, and have been altered by reducing the red cross to the later mid-war economy pattern, due to ghost stitching holes around the cross.
One size should fit all with three size options. Opened flat it measures 43cm and 8.5cm in width.
