Genuine WWII US M-1936 field bag, manufactured by Murray Goldberg, Inc. and dated 1941. Complete with its original straps allowing the musette bag to be carried as a backpack.
This nice field bag belonged to Captain Josehp J. Stahl, service number O-244020, as indicated by the markings stenciled on its back. Some invasion marks are also visible on the front, made up of number 32020 above three horizontal bars -- khaki, brown, khaki.
