Genuine WWII US Navy grouping, made up of a jumper, matching trousers and flat hat. The uniform retains its original insignias: 'Ruptured Duck' and Petty Officer 1st Class rank stripes (Storekeeper). This set also includes two medals: the WWII Victory Medal and the Navy Expeditionary Medal.
Both the jumper and trousers retain the Naval Clothing Company manufacturer's label, on which the name E. Savickey has been handwritten. The flat hat features a standard US Navy band.
Eugene Savickey hailed from Massachusetts. He was born on May 4, 1919 and passed away on June 9, 1991.
