Jacket, Ike, and Cap, 18th Inf. Regt., 1st Infantry Division

Superb genuine WWII US Army regulation enlisted men's jacket, as chosen by General Eisenhower in April 1944 -- hence the 'Ike Jacket' denomination under which it soon became popular.

The present one retains all its original insignia: 1st Infantry Division shoulder sleeve insignia, 18th Infantry Regiment distinctive insignias, US and crossed rifles collar discs, medal ribbons (Good Conduct Medal, European–African–Middle Eastern Campaign Medal, Victory Medal and Army of Occupation Medal), French Croix de Guerre fourragere, Overseas Service Bars and Presidential Unit Citation with two palms.

Label still present, dated June 6, 1944, size 36R. Excellent overall condition.

Delivered with a genuine enlisted men's garrison cap, with blue infantry pipping, size 6 7/8.
