Superb genuine WWII US Army Enlisted Men's wool serge off-duty jacket. The present jacket retains all its buttons and original insignias -- infantry collar discs, 3rd Infantry Division shoulder sleeve insignia, French Croix de guerre fourragere, Corporal rank stripes, European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal ribbon, Presidential Unit Citation, 'Ruptured Duck' and Overseas Service Bar.
Excellent overall condition. Original label still present, no size visible; fits like a 34R. Name D. Romano and service number 31148055 have been handwritten in the collar.
Dominic Romano was born in Bristol, Rhode Island on July 4, 1916 and joined the US Army on June 19, 1942. He passed away on December 3, 2001. Discharged on November 7, 1945, he passed away on December 3, 2001.
