Genuine WWII British container, intended for food or beverages, 4-gallon capacity (about 4.5 liters). Dated 1943, the present container is complete with gasket. Lid is in working condition. The chain is missing.

Comes in its original webbing carrier, complete with shoulder straps. The whole assembly was carried as a backpack.

Homogenous set, in good overall condition.
