Sheath, Machete, British, Pattern 1944

Scarce genuine WWII British Pattern 1944 webbing sheath, intended for the 18-inch machete. Designed for jungle combat, the Pattern 1944 Equipment, made in green heavy duty canvas, was mostly used in the Far East.

In good overall condition, the present scabbard is complete with bent-wire hook. Dated 1944.
