Genuine WWII US M1 helmet, featuring front seam and fixed bales, showing no visible markings. Half of the steel rim around the edge of the shell is missing. A French Army Lieutenant rank insignia has been attached onto the front, thanks to a couple of lugs inserted in two holes intended for that purpose.
Comes with its liner, manufactured by Westinghouse, retaining its A washers (oxidized) and parts of the webbing suspension.
Homogeneous set, in worn out condition.
