Great genuine WWII British black beret, featuring black leather trim, tightening ribbon and two side eyelets with leather reinforcement. Manufactured by Beret Industries Ltd. and dated 1943. The Broad Arrow is clearly visible. Size 7 1/8.
The black beret was intended for being worn by members of the armored forces only: Royal Armoured Corps, Household Cavalry, Armoured Foot-Guards and Reconnaissance Corps, as well as some self-propelled artillery and Royal Engineers units.

The Code provides additional penalties, including the confiscation of the items used or intended for committing the offence.
