Great genuine WWII US M-1943 cotton sateen four-pocket jacket. Featuring plastic buttons and gusseted cuffs, the new field jacket was massively issued in the ETO for the first time in late September 1944, on the occasion of Operation Market Garden.

In very good, worn condition, the present jacket retains all original buttons and waist drawstrings. Size 36R. The inner label is dated April 17, 1944.

The name of D.S. Chance is stenciled inside the jacket.
