The latter provides general advice and guidance for the families of servicemen regarding the contents of their letters in order to maintain morale. Homogeneous set, in good overall condition.

Instruction sheet, Paint, Face, Camouflage
Genuine WWII U.S. Army instruction sheet detailing the proper use and application of camouflage face paint. The sheet originally accompanied crates of face paint, with only a limited number included in each crate. Issued to soldiers for field use, these sheets were then passed along to others.

Rare genuine WWII US leaflet, Feldpost , number 13, January 1945 issue. Printed in German, this propaganda document was issued to the Twelfth Army Group and disseminated in enemy territory by its artillery, thanks to specific shells, in order to inform the population about the evolution of the war on the various front. Abbreviated version of Frontpost , which was dropped from the skies. The main title of the present issue is dedicated to the liberation of Warsaw and Krakow, Poland, by the Red Army. Extremely rare genuine WWII Allied leaflet intended for informing French civilians about the landings on the shores of German-occupied France. Drawn up by the SHAEF, this message, which was first delivered on June 7, 1944, belongs to a series of twelve leaflets specifically intended for being dropped during the military operations in Normandy. Text is printed in French only. Numbered ZF 1 , the present leaflet was air-dropped from June to September 1944. Excellent overall condition. Letter & Insignia, Pfc. Edward Haas, 107th General Hospital
Original letter and envelope sent to some Dolly by Private First Class Edward J. Haas , 107th General Hospital, Fort Lewis, near Tacoma, Washington State. The letter was written on August 13, 1946 and its envelope was postmarked the following day. Three genuine wartime cloth patches, mentioned in the letter, complete this interesting lot: a German Schutzstaffel eagle sleeve insignia, an Army Service Forces shoulder insignia, and a Private First Class stripe.

Original letter and envelope sent to Private First Class Raymond G. Geddes, Jr. , 501st PIR by his father while Ray was taking part in the Tennessee maneuvers. Postmarked on September 16, 1943.
