Genuine WWII US Army ski goggles, intended for mountain troops. The acetate lenses were designed to prevent the wearer from being dazzled by the sun reflection on the snow. This is the early type, featuring 'triangular' lenses. In worn condition, these goggles come in their original case with a pair of spare lenses. Homogeneous set, quite fragile.

Genuine WWII First Special Service Force shoulder sleeve insignia. In August 1943, the FSSF stormed Kiska during the Aleutian Campaign against the Japanese, prior to being transferred to the Fifth Army in Europe in November. After participating in the Italian Campaign, the Force took part in Operation Dragoon in Southern France in August 1944, subsequently fought its way in the Alps and the Vosges, and was eventually disbanded in December. The FSSF neutralized some 12,000 German troops and captured 7,000 prisoners, while its own attrition rate was over 600 per cent. Accumulated losses amounted to 130 per cent of its strength. Very good overall condition.

Jacket, Mountain, US Army, 36R, 1942
Rare genuine WWII US Army mountain jacket, made in wind- and water-resistant cotton cloth, introduced in 1942. The left shoulder bears a two-piece 10th Mountain Division inisgnia. This type features two patch pockets with flap-covered Conmar zippers on the brest and two buttoned-flap, cut-in pockets on the hips. The jacket closes down the front with a Talon zipper and four buttons, including one under the collar. A wide loops is located at the rear, and two smaller on the sides, in order to house a waist belt -- not included here -- and thus adjust the tightness. The rear is fitted with a large gusset compartment, closing with another Talon zipper, intended for carrying spare clothes and combat rations when the rucksack was not carried. The inner suspenders -- missing here -- were designed for distributing the overall weight when the various cargo pockets were loaded. Label is dated November 10, 1942. Size 36R. Complete and in excellent overall condition. All zippers are in working order.

Nice pair of genuine WWII US Army felt boot liners, intended for being worn in the Mukluk boots in extreme cold weather conditions. No markings visible. Approximate size: 9. Very good overall condition.

Mittens, Shell, Trigger Finger, Type II
Genuine pair of WWII US mittens, made of windproof poplin with leather palm, intended for mountain and cold climate operations. Worn over the wool mittens. The index finger is left free to activate the weapon's trigger. Adjustable thanks to two straps. Used during the Battle of the Bulge, including by elements of the 82nd Airborne Division. Very good, used condition, in size Medium.

Overshoes, All Rubber, Two-Hook
Pair of genuine WWII US Army rubber ankle boots overshoes, closing by two spring-loaded hooks with flat buckles. Manufactured by Ball-Band . No size indication -- may correspond to size 8. Homogeneous pair, in good overall condition.
