Case CS-156, Canvas, BC-611, Handie-Talkie radio
CS-156 canvas case for carrying the "handie-talkie", radio set SCR-536 / BC611. The Case, CS-156 is a component of the Homing Modification Kit MC-619, which is a "directional antenna attachment designed to be used with Radio Set SCR-536". A hand held loop antenna replaced the nondirectional telescopic rod antenna. Again, per the manual, "the case provides carrying space for the radio. The bags are fitted with suitable straps to permit slinging over the shoulder or under the arm. During homing operations the radio set may be carried in this bag. This allowed the hands to be free to manipulate the antenna.

Case, canvas jump, M1A1 carbine
A special belt holster for carrying the folding stock carbine M1A1 during the jump. This was padded with felt on the leg side. Adopted in February 1943, it is made of OD #3 canvas. The scabbard was held onto the leg by the strap and buckle at the muzzle end.

Chest Insignia, 1st Troop Carrier Command, Leather
Superb reproduction of the US 1st Troop Carrier Command chest insignia. Hand painted on a piece of leather. Activated on April 30, 1942, it supervised the Troop Carrier Groups, equipped with C-47 Skytrian, whose purpose was to drop paratroopers and glidermen into the combat zones. This insignia (diameter 12.5 cm) was worn by C-47 pilots on their A-2 leather jackets.
