Nice genuine WWII US Army wire cutters, of the large type intended for clearing the way through barbed wire. This long version (30.7in) was manufactured by H.K. Porter, Inc. in Boston, Massachusetts and was issued in armored vehicles tool kits. Good, used condition. Found in Normandy. The present artifact comes from a significant collection built up by a Norman collector in the last thirty years.

Genuine WWII British radio wire, used aboard Royal Air Force aircraft. The present set retains its two 10H/2206 sockets and its 10H/735 jack. Mention Sqn. Ldr Berry has been handwritten on the small russet leather sheath. The whole assembly belonged to Squadron Leader Lionel G. Berry . Born on June 4, 1922 in Derby, Derbyshire, England, Lionel Goldsmith Berry , a Lancaster bomber pilot with No. 106 Squadron, was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross in February 1944, when he was still a Pilot Officer.
