Portraits - Who were they ?, Tome 2

In this second volume, you will follow the story and the path of US Rangers, whose first unit was created in June 1942 and who attacked Pointe du Hoc on June 6, 1944. You will also learn about the tragic story of soldiers from the 66th Infantry Division who left Southampton at 9.15 am, on Christmas Eve 1944, aboard the troop carrier S.S. Leopoldville, heading toward a terrible fate. Then, you will also discover portraits of members of the US Navy, US Army Air Forces, paratroopers units... All are resting in the American cemeteries of St-James & Colleville-sur-Mer, in Normandy, as heroes of this "Greatest Generation" who gave their lives, so we could recover freedom. That is the reason why we are pursuing our quest, so you can discover these heroes's faces and stories.
