Genuine WWII US 1st type wood and metal three-piece collapsible pole for US Army shelter half, dated 1942.

All pieces are in nice Surplus shape, functional and usable.
Cap, HBT (Herring Bone Twill), OD 3.
This poplin shell cap was authorized in August 1943 and was meant to replace various caps. There are two ventilation grommets on the side.
Knife, Pocket, M2, Parachutist, metal handle. This switchblade knife was carried in the small vertical pocket under the collar of the M-42 jump jacket. Reproduction of the Presto type with metal handle. One of its purpose was to cut the canopy risers when landing in a difficult spot.
Nice replica of the US Army HBT (Herring Bone Twill) OD 7 combat jacket or shirt.
Designed for protection against gases. This jacket with metal buttons and cargo pockets will be used as work clothes or as combat clothes.
