Post-war production of the stainless steel GI's chains intended for dog tags, virtually identical to the wartime issue.
This well-known bead type, initially sold in PXs, quickly became popular and gradually replaced the 1940 version.
The present main chain (24in) and extra chain (4in) were made in the USA by The Bead Chain Co., Bridgeport Conn.
