Rare genuine WWII US theater-made brown leather holster, intended for the M1911A1 Colt pistol or some revolver, featuring a leather belt loop. This open-top sheath, largely based on the standard issue M3 and M7 shoulder holsters, features a securing strap fitted with a Lift-the-Dot fastener (in working order), as well as a braided leather lace. The front has been adorned with five stars roughly cut out from a piece of leather, along with a total of thirteen nails likely taken from some captured German officers' shoulder boards. Initials JH have been discretely stamped on the lower part. A great artifact in quite good, used condition.

Genuine WWII US theater-made brown leather holster intended for the M1911A1 Colt pistol, .45 caliber, designed for being attached to the pistol belt thanks to its bent-wire hook. This open-top sheath features a securing strap fitted with a Lift-the-Dot fastener (in working order). Inscription Lt. L.F. Moore has been stamped on the front of the holster. Good overall condition.

Holster, War Booty, Bastogne, January 1st, 1945
Rare genuine WWII leather shoulder holster, intended for a semi-automatic pistol and captured by a GI on some German during the Battle of the Bulge. Although the general shape is quite reminiscent of the M3 holster, the present artifact features a separate case designed to accomodate a spare magazine. The following markings have been handwritten on the rear: R.F. Clark 34868692 264 F.A. Bn. The original note which comes along with this holster indicates that it used to carry a Russian TT-30 pistol (caliber 7.62mm), taken from a German on New Year's Day 1945 near Bastogne, Belgium by Sergeant Robert F. Clark du 264th Field Artillery Battalion. Complete and in good, used condition.
