Genuine WWII US Army M1936 field bag carrying strap -- no production markings visible. Quite good, used condition. Laundry number S4216 has been stenciled twice on the inner side, while name Svilar, Geo and ASN 36344216 have been handwritten. George Svilar was born on May 6, 1917 in DeKalb, Illinois and joined the US Army on June 2, 1942. He went on to serve with the Air Forces and deployed to Europe with the 9th Air Force.
