Genuine WWII US Army M1936 field bag, khaki canvas, manufactured by Atlantic Products Corp. and dated 1941. Issued in lieu of the haversack to officers and other personnel such as airborne troops and armored crews. Good, used condition; the Armored Force insignia has been drawn on the flap, above name  Robert W. Neuenkirch and ASN 17169396 . Robert William Neuenkirch was born on January 19, 1922 in Strawberry Point, Iowa and joined the US Army on December 3, 1942. Afer graduating from the Armored Force School at Fort Knox, Kentucky, he went on to serve with Service Compayny, 13th Infantry Regiment, 8th Infantry Division. Quite good overall condition; all outer surfaces feature an interesting camouflage scheme applied with dark brown paint.

Used condition. Name  Bosso H.  has been inked at the back and on the flap. Horace Jerome Bosso was born on June 12, 1903 in St. Louis, Missouri and joined the US Army on November 20, 1942 (ASN 37399252). Genuine WWII US Army M1936 field bag, issued in lieu of the haversack to officers and other personnel such as airborne troops and armored crews. Manufactured by Luce Manufacturing Co. and dated 1942. Good, used condition; retains its shoulder strap. The various inscriptions visible on both the musette bag and its strap indicate that the present assembly successively belonged to some Lieutenant Colonel J. W. Ulery and his son, Joseph D. Ulery . John Weaver Ulery was born on February 14, 1900 in Nappanee, Indiana. A Great War veteran, he was inducted into Federal Service on July 8, 1940 and went on to deploy to Italy with the 10th Mountain Division in 1945 (officer's ASN O-281810). He was discharged on April 14, 1946 as a Lieutenant Colonel, yet returned to duty during the Korean War from April 19, 1952 to April 30, 1955, when he retired with the rank of Colonel -- he passed away on July 15, 1985. Genuine WWII US M1936 field bag, OD 7 canvas, manufactured by  Hepburn Mfg. Co., Inc. and dated 1944. Issued in lieu of the haversack to officers and other personnel such as airborne troops and armored crews. Very good overall condition; initials ARC have been painted on the flap; retains its shoulder sling, manufactured by Arnold Mfg. Co. and dated 1943 One hand bagage tag and one customs declaration, both of the standard type issued by the US Army, come along with this musette bag; the personal details written on them indicate that the present lot once belonged to some William N. Goodall , a civilian attached to the American Red Cross, living in Norman, Oklahoma. Illustration documents available in digital format only.

Genuine WWII US M1936 field bag, OD 7 canvas, manufactured by Kadin and dated 1944. Issued in lieu of the haversack to officers and other personnel such as airborne troops and armored crews. Excellent overall condition. Name  A.H. Barben  and officer's ASN  O-542189 have been stenciled on the flap. Arnold Henry Barben  was born on July 19, 1905 in Watertown, New York and joined the US Army on December 22, 1943. He went on to serve in the Corps of Engineers and deployed to the China-Burma-India theater of operations. Nice genuine WWII US Army M1936 field bag, rubberized khaki canvas, intended for carrying personal belongings. Manufactured by  The Langdon Tent & Awning Co. and dated 1942.  Very good overall condition; name  John Mead  and mention  Captain M.C. have been stenciled on the flap.

Genuine WWII US Army M1936 field bag, khaki canvas, manufactured by  Varied Mfg. Co. and dated 1942. Issued in lieu of the haversack to officers and other personnel such as airborne troops and armored crews. The rear straps have been covered with adhesive plaster in order to keep them in folded position. Good, used condition; markings -AAA  have been painted in red on the front, while name Walsh and officer's ASN  O-381496  have been written on the back. Maurice James Walsh was born on May 5, 1913 in Burlington, Vermont. As a doctor, he joined the Medical Reserve in June 1939, was inducted into Federal Service two years later, and went on to serve with 2nd Auxiliary Surgical Group in the Mediterranean Theater of Operations.
