Genuine WWII US M1942 bayonet for the M1 Garand rifle, manufactured by American Fork & Hoe in 1943 (see hallmark AFH on left side of the ricasso) and subsequently shortened by Union Fork & Hoe (hallmark UFH on the tang). This type was redesignated M1 in March 1943. Quite good, used condition; comes in its OD bakelite scabbard.
