Genuine WWII US M1942 bayonet for the M1 Garand rifle, manufactured by Utica Cutlery (see hallmark UC on left side of the ricasso) in 1942 and subsequently shortened by American Fork & Hoe (see initials AFH on the tag). This type was redesignated M1 in March 1943. In good overall condition, the present bayonet comes in its OD bakelite scabbard.

Beachpack, Medical, US Navy, BEACH PARTY MEDICAL EVACUATION
Scarce genuine WWII US Navy beachpack made in OD 7 cotton canvas. Intended for carrying USN medical suitcase type 14-030, which contained frontline medical supplies. Also used by the Naval Beach Battalions landing on Utah and Omaha Beach on D-Day. Tearable canvas.

Bead Chains, Dog Tags, Made in USA
Post-war production of the stainless steel GI's chains intended for dog tags, virtually identical to the wartime issue. This well-known bead type, initially sold in PXs, quickly became popular and gradually replaced the 1940 version. The present main chain (24in) and extra chain (4in) were made in the USA by The Bead Chain Co., Bridgeport Conn.
