Genuine WWII photograph showing General Matthew B. Ridgway, 82nd Airborne Division Commander and the Lieutenant Colonels of his staff, picture taken during a dinner in a Norman's field, June 1944. First left is Ridgway's protégé, Lt. Col. Emory 'Hank' S. Adams, G-3 section, sitting second right is Lt. Col. Robert H. Wienecke, G-3. Original print, in excellent overall condition. Format about: 4in x 5in. Picture is also published in the book from Michel De Trez: Sainte-Mère-Eglise, photographs of D-Day, page 141.

Genuine WWII photograph, taken in 1943 at The Hurricane, a club located on Broadway, New York, which was then considered as the 'headquarters' of the 502nd Parachute Infantry Regiment. Original print, coming in its cardboard sleeve. Dimensions of the picture: 5.1in x 7in. From left to right, the three officers seated in charming company are Lieutenants Ralph S. Magri (Company E), Earl R. Hendricks a.k.a. 'Worried' (Company F), and Robert S. Dickson III , a.k.a. 'Buck' (Pathdinder, Company E). Ralph Samuel Magri was born on July 12, 1918 in Rome, New York. A member of the National Guard, he was inducted into Federal Service on January 16, 1941 (ASN 20109059) and was commissioned in 1942 (officer's ASN O-1295045). After being awarded his 'jump wings', he went on to serve with Company E, 502nd PIR, 101st Airborne Division, a unit with which he parachuted into Normandy on D-Day. He was killed in action five days later in the vicinity of Carentan, France. Earl R. Hendricks (O-408579) was missing in action on January 2, 1945, and Robert S.
