Genuine WWII US Army M-1943 women's field jacket, with light khaki lining. Closing with seven brown plastic buttons sewn on the left-hand side. The two breast pockets featured on the men's jacket are not present on this type, though the tapered flaps are still visible. The present jacket is dated 1944 and retains its original labels but almost illegible: Jackets, Field, M-1943, Women's, 42R . This nice jacket is complete with all buttons and inner draw string. Very good worn condition.

Nice genuine WWII US Army officer's regulation 'Ike Jacket' of the type introduced in April 1944. Label is dated April 21, 1945. Size 44L. Laundry number D6102 has been stenciled in the collar several times. Very good overall condition; retains all original buttons.

Amazing genuine WWII USAAF A-2 leather flight jacket, which belonged to an American airman who served in the China-Burma-India theater of operations. Quite good, worn condition; shows a nice patina and various signs of wear, including a few tears on the cuffs and waistband. The oroginal collar hook, Conmar zipper (in working order), and snap fasteners are still present. Name Sadloski and laundry number 0475 have been stenciled on the lining. Corresponds to size 42R. Stanley Patrick Sadloski was born on May 21, 1917 in Hartford, Connecticut and joined the Air Corps on November 4, 1940 (ASN 1101 0475 ). He went on to serve with 25th Material Squadron at Wheeler Field, Hawaii and survived the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941. Following his transfer to 9th Bomb. Squadron, 7th Bomb. Group, 10th Air Force, he later deployed to India, where he served as a flight engineer and aerial gunner and was injured on March 24, 1945, when B-24L #44-49607 '28', aboard which he flew, crashed in the Ganges Delta during a raid on Burma. Great genuine WWII USAAF Type B-15 intermediate flying jacket, introduced in April 1944 and intended for being worn with the Type A-11 trousers. Featuring a fur collar, this alpaca-lined poplin jacket shows two slash pockets on the front and two inner pockets, all fitted with a snap fastener -- in working order. Talon zipper is damaged. Complete and in good overall condition; label is missing. Shoulder width: 21in. Sleeve length: 24in.

Amazing genuine WWII British flying jacket, of the Irvin type issued to Royal Air Force aircrews. Officially adopted by the Air Ministry in 1938 under designation 22C/98 , along with matching trousers ( 22C/99 ), this jacket was constructed from heavy sheepskin with thick fleece inner lining and outer hide coated in brown waterproof dye. It soon became popular with all aircrews, particularly fighter pilots, due to the warmth and comfort provided in flight. However, from 1943 onwards, it was officially made available to bomber crews only because of its high cost of production. The present jacket is in very good, worn condition, showing a nice leather patina and a well preserved fleece; all zippers are in working order. Belt missing. Genuine WWII US Army 'Special' HBT overshirt, featuring an inner flap behind the front buttons and two buttons under the collar intended for attaching the antigas woolen hood. This color was introduced in 1943 (Olive Drab Shade 7). Size: Medium. This type, which retains the two breast cargo pockets of the previous versions, was worn both as a combat jacket and as a utility jacket in the ETO, particularly in Normandy. In excellent overall condition, the present jacket retains all original buttons.

Great genuine WWII US Army regulation 'Ike Jacket' of the type introduced in April 1944. The present uniform, which is in excellent overall condition, retains all original buttons and insignia: ETOUSA shoulder sleeve insignia, Technician 4th Grade rank stripes, ribbon bars (Good Conduct Medal, European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal, and American Campaign Medal), 'Ruptured Duck', Meritorious Service Unit Badge, and four Overseas Service Bars; label is dated June 22, 1944; size 38R. Name Gerken, Peter J.H. and ASN 32511903 have been written inside. A very nice OD garrison cap, in perfect condition, featuring the white and maroon piping of the Medical Department, comes along with this jacket; ASN 32511903 has been written on the sweatband. Peter John Henry Gerken, Jr. was born on December 28, 1910 in Brooklyn, New York and joined the US Army on September 25, 1942. He deployed to England with Medical Department and met some Thelma Margaret Weckerly , whom he married on January 10, 1946. Bates, Jr. , 301st Troop Carrier Squadron, 441st Troop Carrier Group, 9th Air Force. Excellent overall condition; retains all original buttons and insignia: Airborne-Troop Carrier and 9th Air Force shoulder sleeve insignia, Corporal rank stripes, U.S. and Air Corps collar disks, Distinguished Unit Citation, 'Ruptured Duck', Service Stripe, and three Overseas Service Bars of the brass type. Label is dated June 13, 1944. Size 40R. Two separate inscriptions are visible inside: CAPT G.R. Hewes O-909077 in the upper part, and PFC J.M. Bates 34809776 301 T.C. Sq . in the lower part. James Morgan Bates, Jr. was born on June 10, 1923 in Birmingham, Alabama and joined the US Army on June 17, 1943. Label dated June 9, 1944, size 38L. Name Glenn N. G.N. Stiarwalt and ASN 36780974 have been handwritten inside. A khaki cotton necktie bearing name Glenn N. G.N. Stiarwalt and ASN 36780974 completes this lot. Glenn Noper Stiarwalt was born on March 30, 1912 in Good Hope, Illinois and joined the US Army on January 8, 1944. He went on to serve with the 2nd Infantry Regiment, 5th Infantry Division and deployed to Europe, where he was wounded by shrapnel in his wrist in October 1944.
