Genuine WWII US Marine Corps Mark 2 type fighting knife, manufactured by Camillus and hallmarked on guard. Comes in its original russet leather scabbard, at the back of which name S.R. Clegg has been carved. Snap fastener of securing strap is in working order. Homogeneous set in good, used condition. Samuel Richard Clegg was born on August 17, 1924 in Bellaire, Ohio and joined the USMC on November 20, 1942 (service number 491795). He went on to serve with the Fleet Marine Force and was discharged on November 15, 1945 as a Corporal. Homogeneous set in quite good, used condition.

Genuine WWII US Navy Mk 2 fighting knife, of the scarce early-production type hallmarked Ka-Bar, Olean, N.Y. on the left side of the ricasso and USN on the right side. Blade length: 6.85in. Good overall condition; comes in its original russet leather scabbard, manufactured by Boyt in 1943 and bearing initials 'U.S.N.' -- snap fastener of the securing strap is in working order. Nice homogeneous set.

Rare genuine WWII US Mk 2 fighting knife, of the early-production type hallmarked Ka-Bar, Olean, N.Y. on the left side of the ricasso. Initials RH have been engraved on the leather grip. Comes in its original russet leather scabbard, manufactured by Boyt and dated 1943. Initials RBH have been carved at the back, where name Robert B. Hoem and ASN 36666422 have been written. The male part of the snap fastener is missing. Great homogeneous set, in good overall condition. The grip is fashioned out of leather washers. This is one of the various hunting knives purchased by the government -- or privately bought -- prior to the introduction of the M3 Trench Knife. Issued to all branches of service: Army, Navy, Marine Corps... Comes in its original leather scabbard -- securing strap is damaged. Homogeneous set, in used condition.
