Genuine WWII British 1940 Pattern flying boots, made of brown suede lined with sheep's fleece, fitted with leather soles and rubber heels, and featuring an enveloping rubber lip from heel to toes.

Like many other pieces of flying gear, this type was also issued to some American pilots and aircrews of the 8th and 9th Air Forces based in Britain. Some adjustable russet leather strap was soon added around the ankles, thus giving birth to the 1941 Pattern.

Adorned with the crown and initials 'A.M.', both zippers are in working order.

Homogeneous pair in quite good, worn condition.

Approximate size: 10 (UK) or 10.5 (US).
