Genuine WWII British web ammunition pouch, which could equally accomodate bandoleers containing five-round clips for the Lee-Enfield rifle, Sten gun and Bren gun magazines, as well as Mills grenades.
The outer surface features a red cross painted on a white disc, indicating that the present pouch was used for some medical purpose -- carrying dressings and other items --, while mention B By has been written under the flap.
Quite good, used condition.
