Genuine WWII US Army half shelter tent, manufactured by Tweedieand dated 1943. The present second type comes with its three-part mast and five wooden pegs.
As part of his issue, every GI had a shelter-half, usually rolled into the havresack's pack carrier. A two-man tent could be pitched by buttoning together two shelter halves.

The Code provides additional penalties, including the confiscation of the items used or intended for committing the offence.
