Genuine WWII US special friction tape, manufactured by United States Rubber Company.

The 'Chatterton' tape was issued as part of the paratrooper's demolition kit (see picture #2 in manual Technical Training of Parachutist) and often used by airborne troops to reinforce their personal equipment and gear.

The present roll is complete and untouched.

Comes in its original cardboard box, dated United States Rubber Company.
