Staff Sergeant Paul B. Atwood, Company B, 1st Battalion, 508th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 82nd Airborne Division jumped in Normandy on D-Day and took part in all the regimental campaigns. He was lightly wounded on December 26, 1944.
