Genuine WWII US War Department identification card, issued on April 15, 1942 to some Private First Class Gerrit DeWitt, ASN 36151592.

Complete and in quite good overall condition.

Gerrit DeWitt was born on January 3, 1910 in Holland, Michigan to Dutch parents and joined the US Army on February 25, 1941. He was discharged on June 27, 1945 as a Technician 5th Grade, and passed away on March 4, 1989.
