Return Certificate, New York Port of Embarkation, T/4 Lucius V. Lamont

Genuine return certificate issued to Technician Fourth Grade (T/4) Lucius V. Lamont, documenting his repatriation to the United States at the end of World War II. He returned to New York Harbor on November 18, 1945, aboard the Liberty ship SS Henry Ward Beecher, which had sailed from Marseille, France. 

On the back is handwritten a short text about two days of the journey.

Very good overall condition.

 Lucius V. Lamont, was born on September 5, 1909 in Freeville, New York, he joined the US Army in 1942. He passed away on October 18, 1993.
