Genuine WWII US good luck charm, consisting of a plastic pendant in which a real four-leaf clover was inserted; the reverse of the pendant shows a tiny ad for Gunther's Premium Dry Beer.
This type of lucky charm was often carried around the neck, along with the dog tags.

Genuine WWII US Army dog tag, issued to some C.C. Lutterschmidt , ASN 33115581, vaccinated against tetanus in 1942 and 1943, blood type O, Catholic. Good overall condition; attached to some cotton shoelace along with a good luck charm, consisting of a plastic pendant in which a real four-leaf clover was inserted; the rear part of the pendant is missing, and so is one of the leaves. Charles Carl Lutterschmidt was born on October 22, 1918 in Coplay, Pennsylvania and joined the Air Corps on November 22, 1941.
