Pair of genuine WWII US Army dog tags, issued to someGeorge J. Barrett, ASN 33176795, vaccinated in 1942 and 1943, blood type O, Catholic.
Nice homogeneous set, in very good overall condition, retaining both bead chains.
George Joseph Barrett was born on February 1st, 1913 in Pittston, Pennsylvania and joined the US Army on March 23, 1942. He went on to serve with the Medical Department and deployed to the Pacific from January 5, 1944 to November 29, 1945, particularly with 161st Station Hospital in New Guinea. He was discharged on December 12 of that year as a Staff Sergeant, and passed away on July 16, 1978.

The Code provides additional penalties, including the confiscation of the items used or intended for committing the offence.
