Genuine WWII US Army M2 multi-purpose pliers and crimper -- one handle ends as a screwdriver blade, the other is a spike for boring a small hole in the TNT block and inserting a fuze. The crimping claws are designed for attaching a blasting cap or length of detonating cord to the fuze. Manufactured by Wm. Schollhorn Co. This type was, among others, issued as part of the parachutist's demolition bag -- see illustration #5 of technical manual Technical Training of Parachutist . Good overall condition.

Genuine WWII US Army wire cutters, of the large type used for clearing the way through barbed wire. Issued in the Engineer Squad Demolition Chest. This version was intended for the Corps of Engineers, manufactured by H.K. Porter, Inc. in Everett, Massachusetts. The handles feature a thick, isolating rubber coat. Complete and in quite good, used condition. Total length: 19.3in.
