Genuine WWII US Army M1910 T-shovel, featuring initials 'U.S.' on both the blade and the handle.
Comes in its canvas cover, manufactured by Miller Hermer, Inc.and dated 1943, at the back of which name W.E. Smith and partial ASN 1825 have been stenciled.
Nice homogeneous set, in quite good, used condition.
Wilbur Earl Smith was born on May 22, 1917 in Enid, Oklahoma and joined the US Army on August 8, 1942 (ASN 38181825). He went on to serve in the Medical Department, and was discharged in 1946 as a Sergeant. He passed away on December 4, 2003.

The Code provides additional penalties, including the confiscation of the items used or intended for committing the offence.
