Genuine WWII US Army packboard, 2nd pattern, made of shaped plywood and fitted with a wide canvas panel laced on the sides; this type was introduced as a simpler alternative to the earlier Yukon Packboard.

Manufactured by by Red Lion Cabinet Co. and dated May 24, 1944.

Widely used to carry heavy and bulky loads such as ammunition crates, rations, jerrycans, crew-served weapons, medical equipment, and other supplies.

Very good overall condition; complete, apart from the metal cornice intended for being placed in the lower part.
