Nice genuine WWII US Army M1943 Field Pack, intended for replacing the M1928 haversack.
Manufactured by Breslee Mfg. Co. in 1944.
A variation of the 1942 Field Pack, this model was the final version, slightly roomier, and made in green material. Issued in some quantity in Europe in 1944, it was finally superseded by the two-part combat pack in late 1944.
Excellent overall condition; retains all original straps; zipper and snap hooks are in working order.
