Introduced in 1942, this type, soon known as the 'Hobby Hat', was progressively superseded by the garrison cap. Tailored by Dobbs, Fifth Avenue, New York . Size 22 1/2. In good overall condition, the present cap is complete with walking eagle hat insignia, chinstrap and buttons. Partial service number N2091 has been inked inside.

Genuine WWII US Army M-1943 women's field jacket, with light khaki lining. Closing with seven brown plastic buttons sewn on the left-hand side. The two breast pockets featured on the men's jacket are not present on this type, though the tapered flaps are still visible. The present jacket is dated 1944 and retains its original labels but almost illegible: Jackets, Field, M-1943, Women's, 42R . This nice jacket is complete with all buttons and inner draw string. Very good worn condition.

Genuine WWII US Army dog tag, issued to some Phyllis Ingalls service number A- 300273 , vaccinated against tetanus in 1943, blood type A, Protestant, with name and address of next-of-kin -- here, her father. Phyllis F. Ingalls was born on January 22, 1919 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma and joined the Women's Army Corps on August 4, 1943. She deployed to the Pacific from November 18, 1944 to October 22, 1945, in New Guinea and in the Phillipines, serving in the Headquarters of the Far East Air Forces, and was discharged nine days later as a Corporal. Nice genuine WWII US Army dog tag, issued to some Barbara F. Abbott , ASN A-309694, vaccinated against tetanus in 1943 and 1944, blood type A, Protestant. Barbara Frances Savage was born on August 4, 1921 in Danville, Virginia and married William Abbott on April 19, 1942. She joined the US Army on February 12, 1943 and deployed to Europe for six months during the year 1945, where she went on to serve as General Dwight D. Eisehower 's secretary.
