Boots, Leather, Laced, Legging Top, Size 9 B, 1941

Nice genuine WWII US Army legging top laced leather boots with distinctive toe cap, introduced for the cavalry in 1940 and widely issued to tank crews and motorcyclists.

The legging top is tightened with three straps featuring pin buckles -- in working order.

This type of high boots was worn throughout the war by several senior officers, including General George S. Patton.

Dated December 10, 1941. Size 9 B.
