Mask, Gas, ARS 17, French, with Canister

Genuine interwar-period French ARS 17 gas mask, made up of a canvas mask featuring mica lenses and a filtering cartridge. Based on its German counterpart, the Appareil Respiratoire Spécial (Modèle 1917) was not massively issued to the Poilu before the spring of 1918.
In used condition, this gas mask is complete and comes in its original canister -- carrying strap is broken but lid is in working order.
Nice homogeneous set.
