Armband, French, 'Réquisitions militaires', Corporal
Genuine pre-WWII French canvas armband, featuring a copper plaque with mention ' Réquisitions militaires ' (Military Requisitions) and a three-pinned buckle. Introduced in 1879, this type was intended for civilian personnel requisitionned by the Army to lead the horses and mules in case of mobilization. The present version, which features dark blue stripes, was intended for Corporals. Complete and in very good overall condition.

Rare genuine WWII British battledress blouse, 1940 Pattern, which belonged to some commando of the Free French Forces. Manufactured by Shein & Myers, Ltd. in Dundee, Scotland. Size No. 12. Initial Z inked above the War Department stamp corresponds to the year of reception (1945). The present jacket retains the following insignias: France nationality titles, No. 4 Commando shoulder titles, Combined Operations insignias, Lance Corporal rank stripes, service chevrons (five years of service), Light Machine Gun cuff badge, medal ribbons (1939-1945 Star, Italy Star, France and Germany Star, War Medal 1939-1945, and General Service Medal 1918-1962). Complete and in perfect condition.

Genuine WWI French Army russet leather belt intended for Other Ranks, of the M1903 type modified in 1914. The present belt is in quite good, worn condition. The double-pin buckle is in working order. One of the leather loops is missing, the other is coming apart from the belt. Overall length: 48in.

Excellent overall condition; retains its rhodoid and sling, and comes along with a wide range of Allied maps covering the French Riviera, and a couple of others covering Alsace. Name Lnt Trenque Paul has been written on every single map, along with one of the two following mentions: Débarquement Méditerranée, août 1944 or Campagne de France 1944, l'offensive d'Alsace . Nice and rare homogeneous set, which belonged to an officer of the 1ère Division de Français Libres .
