Nice genuine interwar period French Army M1926 Adrian helmet, featuring an aluminium crest and adorned with the infantry insignia.
The outer surface of the shell shows an interesting camouflage scheme, made up of large stains of black paint applied with a brush on the factory-applied dark khaki coat.
In quite good, worn condition, the present helmet retains its original leather liner and chinstrap.

Rare genuine WWI French Army M1919 helmet, intended for armored vehicle crews. Despite this designation, this type was actually introduced in late 1918. The present helmet, which is in quite good, worn condition, retains its original armored corps insignia; liner is missing. An M1833 French Navy fighting knife comes with this helmet, along with three metal insignias: initials ' A.S. ' (standing for Artillerie spéciale or Special Artillery), battle tank generic insignia (knight helm with crossed cannons), and 504e Régiment pin badge -- the latter is hallmarked Arthus Bertrand , Paris and retains its pin. The studio portrait of some unknown Corporal of the Artillerie spéciale , taken by Alfred Beller in Versailles, completes this exceptional set ( https://portraitsepia.fr/photographes/beller/ ). Created in 1918, the 504e Régiment d'artillerie spéciale was redesignated 504e Régiment de chars de combat in 1920.

Nice genuine WWI French Army M1915 Adrian helmet, featuring the corps of engineers insignia in its rare early-production version. Retains all original parts of the liner, along with the chinstrap (fragile). Good overall condition; most of the blue paint is still present.

Great genuine WWII US Army M1938 map case, manufactured by American Leather Products Corp. and dated 1942. Excellent overall condition; retains its rhodoid and sling, and comes along with a wide range of Allied maps covering the French Riviera, and a couple of others covering Alsace. Name Lnt Trenque Paul has been written on every single map, along with one of the two following mentions: Débarquement Méditerranée, août 1944 or Campagne de France 1944, l'offensive d'Alsace . Nice and rare homogeneous set, which belonged to an officer of the 1ère Division de Français Libres .

Genuine WWII French Mle 1835 individual mess kit, normally made up of three separate aluminium elements (the inner compartment is missing here). Manufactured by Manufacture métallurgique de Tournus in Saône-et-Loire and dated 1939. Quite good, used condition; name Pierre Lucas and some hardly-legible inscription have been punched on the lid -- probably Souvenir du 104 , which may indicate that the owner served in the 104e Régiment d'infanterie .
Médaille Militaire, Soldat Henri Motin, 23e Régiment territorial d'infanterie, Mort pour la France, February 27, 1915
Rare genuine French Médaille Militaire , posthumously awarded on May 16, 1922 to Soldat Henri Motin , 23e Régiment territorial d'infanterie , who died of wounds received in action on February 27, 1915 at Taissy, Marne. The present medal, which is complete and in very good overall condition, comes along with the official letter and temporary certificate issued in Caen on August 2, 1922 and subsequently forwarded to the above-mentioned serviceman's widow; quite interestingly, name Motin has been wronly written Mottin on these two original documents. A great homogeneous set, which reminds us of the sacrifice of this ' Poilu '. Henri, Eugène Motin was born on May 4, 1876 in Caen, Calvados.
