Locking system is in working order. The blade has been particularly well preserved. Comes in its original steel scabbard, also bearing number 5994 K , along with a blackened-leather bayonet frog which has been slightly damaged by rodents. Rare homogeneous set, in good overall condition.

Nice genuine pre-WWII German bayonet for Mauser 98k, manufactured by E.u.F. Hörster in Solingen in 1934 (see hallmark S/155K ). Serial number 1282 e is clearly visible on the ricasso. Bakelite grips. Locking system is in working order. The blade has been particularly well preserved. Comes in its original steel scabbard, at the rear of which a small hole due to oxidation is visible, along with a blackened-leather bayonet frog; markings stamped on the scabbard are identical to those present on the blade ( S/155K and 1282 e ). Rare homogeneous set, in good overall condition.
