Rare genuine WWII German marking kit, intended for signalling gas-contaminated areas but also probably used for marking minefields.
The present kit is made up of ten red-painted metal stakes, each bearing a small yellow triangular pennant adorned with black skull-and-bones.
A roll of yellow cloth tape, designed for establishing a security perimeter, complete this lot.
Homogeneous set, in good overall condition, coming in its original canvas case (complete with strap).
The present artifact comes from a significant collection built up by a Norman collector in the last thirty years.
