Nice genuine pre-WWII German bayonet for Mauser 98k, manufactured by E.u.F Hörster in Solingen in 1937 -- see hallmarks S/155 and 37.
Serial number 7698 f is clearly visible on the ricasso; walnut grips; locking system is in working order.
Comes in its original steel scabbard, along with a russet leather bayonet frog, made by Geb. Krüger in Breslau in 1941.
The scabbard bears the same production number as the bayonet (7698 f).
Rare homogeneous set, in good overall condition.
The blade has been particularly well preserved.
