€5,750.00
Tax included
Truly exceptional genuine WWII German paratrooper's M38 helmet, manufactured by Eisenhüttenwerk in Thale, Saxe-Anhalt, as indicated by hallmark ET 68.
The shell retains most of its original blue grey paint and the Luftwaffe eagle visible on the left side (decal) is particularly well preserved; the liner and the chinstrap are still present, though damaged and fragile.
Some unidentified projectile has hit the right side, embossing the steel and leaving a 6cm longitudinal impact.
This stunning piece was found in Paris, France.
